What is the walking pace?

Please remember this is a timed challenge, the guide will set the pace to get you around in that time. If you can't maintain the pace the guide may withdraw you in order for others to complete the challenge.

Which is more difficult – National or Yorkshire Three Peaks?

Previous participants say this is 50 /50 but some find the national harder while some find the Yorkshire Three Peaks harder.

Can I bring my dog?

National Three Peaks - No you cannot bring your dog. Yorkshire Three Peaks - Although we generally advise against bringing dogs with you, please get in touch to check with us first

I have a medical condition – can I still take part?

Please take advice from your doctor or GP. That very much depends on what the medical condition is. Whether or not you can participate is also at the discretion of your guide, so please get in touch to discuss things further!

Is there any rock climbing or scrambling on the route?

No – there are a few rocky steps here and there but nothing that would be classed as “rock climbing” and nothing that would require harnesses or similar equipment.

Absolutely. The terrain is rocky and slippery when wet. Walking boots with firm ankle support are a necessity for you to safely undertake either of these walking challenges. Without the appropriate footwear, you may be refused participation.

Depending on how much you tend to drink while exercising, we recommend bringing 2-4 litres.
